DIRTT is a leader in modular interior construction, offering dynamic spaces that adapt and evolve with changing needs. Their innovative approach has resulted in recently being named #1 in Manufacturing on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies 2025 list.

I designed quality publications that reflected DIRTT’s innovation and leadership in adaptable construction and sustainability – these were annual brochures and ESG reports.

For the Iconoclasts magazine, DIRTT sought an editorial-style publication (print and interactive pdf) to showcase thought leadership from six experts in architecture, industrial design, and research. The goal was to craft a high-level magazine to engage industry professionals and reinforce DIRTT’s position as a forward-thinking leader.

For the 2022 & 2023 ESG reports (published ‘23 & ‘24) the objective was to translate DIRTT’s sustainability initiatives and corporate responsibility efforts into an engaging and transparent format. These reports needed to clearly communicate the company’s ESG performance and progress while ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience.

Both projects catered to overlapping but distinct audiences: architects & designers, investors & business leaders, clients/partners, employees, regulatory & industry bodies.

A unified design approach

In order to meet the distinct needs of each project while maintaining a cohesive brand presence, I prioritised:

  • Visual storytelling – The Iconoclasts magazine featured bold imagery, curated layouts, and editorial-style spreads, while the ESG reports leveraged infographics and structured sections for clarity.

  • Consistency – Both publications were designed for seamless print and digital experiences, ensuring engagement across platforms.

  • Presentation of data & thought leadership – the ESG reports required a clear, structure and data visualisation, while Iconoclasts needed a more narrative-driven design.

  • Alignment with DIRTT’s Brand – Clean, modern layouts with a sustainability-inspired colour palette reinforced the identity that DIRTT is rightly proud of.

These projects demonstrate how thoughtful design can elevate corporate storytelling, transforming technical content and industry insights into engaging, high-quality publications and brand awareness.
